On January 11, 2017, 20 National Leaders from the Hispanic Israel Leadership Coalition joining Leaders from Christians United for Israel to storm Washington to lobby on Pro-Israel Legislation. The Evangelical leaders from 49 states appeared in Washington, DC, to lobby with the goal of advancing three congressional measures: 1) to condemn the UN’s recent anti-settlement resolution, 2) to move US Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, 3) to support the nomination of David Friedman as the U.S. Ambassador to Israel.

The purpose of the HILC’s visit to the nations’ capitol was to lobby US senators and representatives on behalf of Israel. The UN Resolution 2334 presents a substantial danger to Israel and that the President of the United States serves until 11:59 AM on January 20th and can still cause further damage to Israel.

The Paris Peace Conference which convenes early next week a resolution could be adopted by the 70 nations represented there that will be detrimental to the future survival of Israel. A resolution could be brought to the United Nations for consideration before noon on January 20th and be passed by that body.

We are seriously concerned about the continued survival of Israel, we went to the seat of power in the United States to lobby on Israel’s behalf.

President Elect Donald Trump has said he will move the embassy to Jerusalem. Foreign Policy reported Tuesday that a letter is circulating among Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives urging President Elect Donald Trump to take “swift action” on moving the embassy to Jerusalem.
